Principal Kelly Starr Moving on from All Saints

All Saints Families,

I would like to share an important leadership update regarding All Saints Elementary.

After thoughtful discernment and consideration for her family, Kelly Starr will conclude her service as Principal of All Saints Elementary at the end of the 2025-2026 academic year as she transitions to a new role as Elementary Principal for the West Branch Community School District. This opportunity will allow Kelly and her family to be closer to home and better support their family’s next chapter together.

Kelly has served in education for 17 years, including the last nine years in Catholic school communities in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids. We are grateful for the care and commitment she has provided to the students, staff, and families of All Saints Elementary during her time here.

While we will miss Kelly’s presence within our school community, we fully support her decision and are thankful for the leadership and dedication she has shared with All Saints. Please join me in thanking Kelly for her service and in wishing her and her family continued blessings and success in this new opportunity.

As we look ahead, please be assured that we are committed to a thoughtful leadership transition that will continue advancing our mission. We will continue to keep families informed with timely communication throughout the transition process as we move forward.

It has been extremely rewarding and an immense pleasure to serve as principal of All Saints Elementary School. I am tremendously proud of the students, teachers, and staff who continue to make All Saints a wonderful place to be.  I have been touched by the dedication and hard work of the teachers and blessed to have led your children over the last three years.  The impact this role has had on my career and life will be missed, but not forgotten, as I will cherish the moments I had serving as your leader.  Thank you for your trust and partnership.
