Ms. Zora Sherman

I am originally from Williamsburg, IA, and my journey into teaching was fueled by my deep-rooted belief in the transformative power of education. I am an impassioned educator with three years of experience in the classroom. I graduated from the University of Iowa and embarked on my career with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment. 

With three years of classroom experience under my belt, I approach education as more than just a profession; it's a calling. My teaching philosophy revolves around cultivating critical thinking skills and instilling a passion for learning in my students, regardless of whether I'm teaching literature, history, or science. Infusing creativity and empathy into my lessons, I aim to inspire curiosity and empower students to realize their full potential.

Beyond the confines of the classroom, I actively engage in extracurricular activities such as yoga, volleyball, and pool. These pursuits not only contribute to my personal well-being but also enrich my teaching by fostering a holistic approach to education.
